I've been in to the Tekstore about 8 times in the past 3 years and they consistently provide great advice and service. They have worked on fixing my company MacBook Pro, and my wife company laptop - both were fixed quickly and with the minimal of effort from us. More recently my daughter had an issue with an iPad that was nearly 2 years old, they looked at it for nothing and advised they could contact Apple under consumer law to see if they would provide a replacement. They were successful in getting a replacement in less than 3 days. They didn't even charge us for completing the form on our behalf!! Amazing service, great guys who work here and we have now set up a company account with them and will be using them for all our future requirements, business and home. Having dropped my Mac book on the kitchen floor and shattered the screen, I assumed my mac was dead. I use it all day for working and there is no way I can be without it. I saw that there was a mac store in newquay which saved me a drive up country so went there with the intention of buying a new Mac book. I took the old one to see if they could transfer my data to what ever new mac I bought. Spoke to a chap called Mark and he managed to fit my Mac book with a brand new screen!!!!!! . I had it back in and back my hands working in less than 24 hours. I cant thank these guys enough, Saved me over a grand buying a new Mac book and countless hours of time. Thanks chaps. Fantastic service! After many years working on Macs I've never thought to get 'everything' transferred from an old dying machine to a bright new shiny one... by a tech genius. Cutting out all the drama and mess. No more sluggish incompatibility issues or mountains to climb resetting and reloading everything myself. Ive put off ditching my MacPro tower for the new Mac Mini for 6 months. The TekStore guys transferred over 'everything' ..(Mail, Apps and even my cluttered Desktop) in a few hours. ..whilst I sat on the beach with a coffee! WOW - Could not believe how lovely these guys are. I went in for a clean on my charging port of my iPhone and after inspection of it they discovered my battery health was low. In conversation I mentioned I was doing a charity ride for Cornwall Air Ambulance next month and they said they would support me and they fitted me a brand new battery completely free as a way of supporting what I was doing - absolutely blown away by their kindness!! Called in on the off chance, my iPhone 11 Pro Max ear speaker was very quiet so asked for advice from the very helpful gentleman in the shop. He asked if the speaker still worked an if I could still hear anything through it, yes I replied and he said that the diagnosis could be promising. He took the phone from me and began to clean the speaker, to my surprise it was fixed and working as good as the day I purchased the phone. These guys are just fantastic. Every person I have dealt with in the shop has been extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Marc and Wayne are particular stars. Everyone in the shop seems to have a good sense of humour, but at the same time are uncompromisingly professional. Most importantly, they look after you. They are ethical and thoughtful about providing the kind of solutions you actually need at the lowest cost to you. Absolutely brilliant customer service and they know there stuff. Had my iPhone 12 Pro Max battery replaced. Initially said that it would be a couple of hours. It ran over slightly because of the seal on the screen was so degraded and they had to clean it off completely. I was grateful that they didn’t rush the job and completed it correctly even though it took a little longer than anticipated. Lovely store clean and bright. I had an issue with my USBC ports and travel extensively so needed a quick turnaround on the repair. After speaking with Apple (as covered under Apple Care), i contacted CTS and from the start they were friendly and helpful, keeping me abreast of every step of the process. They fixed the laptop the next day after the necessary parts had arrived and even showed me the old parts and why they had failed. Exceptional service and i would highly recommend them to anyone! Went into the store hoping for help with my iPad Air, I don’t know what I’d done but was locked out of both of my email accounts, as each was the others recovery, I explained my dilemma to Shaun, he was an absolute star within 10 minutes he’d tapped away and my emails where restored, he was great, very friendly and knowledgable, I took a chance that they would be able to help me, so many places are not interested unless they are selling you something, when the time comes to renew my tech I will most certainly come here. I couldn’t charge my phone, I thought the connector was broken. I looked round and read the service description and reviews for TekStore and thought they’d help. I went and they looked at the connector through a microscope and cleaned it with very small tweezers, connector-cleaning fluid and a brush that goes between teeth. They wouldn’t take any money. I bought a charger I knew I wanted from them. I had a nice chat with another staff member and his friend while the work was done. This is normal for the best of Cornwall. ~ John G

Wayne at CTC was extremely helpful. The Apple customer services team were unable to diagnose the problem with my mac mini. CTC were able to provide much more detailed advice about the problem than Apple were. I sent my hard drive to CTC and their tracking and notification system was clear and efficient. The repairs were carried out very promptly and I was called for them to discuss the issues and how they resolved them. The overall service has been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend CTC. ~ Dominic S

What a great experience! I had a problem with my screen and had a bad experience at an Apple Store in the US, was in Newquay for a few days and it couldn’t have been more opposite. Super friendly, super helpful and managed to get my screen issue fixed within the day under warranty. Whilst I was there, another guy was patiently explaining how iPhones work to an older gentleman who had to buy a new phone. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone! ~ Sianz

After years of thinking I had to go to Plymouth for Apple assistance I was advised by Apple of CTS in Newquay. What a revelation. A friendly, knowledgeable, personable team who went out of their way to sort my iPad issues, those of my grandson's iPad and prompt my wife to buy me a MacBook in the near future. Bonus ! I made over a fifty mile journey passing other Apple stores to take my iPad Into CTS after reading the reviews left on this page, and I was not at all disipointed. i was having problems with the memory capacity. Three other apple stores failed to give me the most simple of information. CTS not only sorted my problem, but while I was there also cleaned up other programs on my iPad . I’ve used this place for years, we got our business IMac’s iPads iPhone etc from them. After sales and support is excellent even years after making a purchase. I often ring them up for advice and it’s given freely with genuine help and support, can’t fault them they’re a terrific group of people, nothing is too much. A wonderful first experience of Tekstore. I googled them as I needed attention to my new iPhone which stopped charging. They saw me very promptly and delivered a great service. My phone now charges again! Not the biggest job in the world but I will now return in the very near future to get my battery replaced on my MacBook Pro. Thank you guys. These guys went the extra mile, and succeeded in fixing my MacBook Pro when it kept losing power, and wouldn't power on again. As someone who works in tech (the software industry), I'm usually reluctant to reach out for help, but TekStore was impressive - They have technicians in-house with the expertise, the tools, and willingness to solve some pretty niche hardware problems. These guys honestly saved our bacon - travelled to Newquay on Boardmasters weekend with the wrong charger for my laptop, they were so flipping kind and let us borrow their shop charger for 24hours to finish some important work meetings before the weekend. My baby knocked over a drink on my laptop and the guys at the TekStore were so great. They filed an insurance report promptly so I could provide proof to the insurance company. They sold me a refurbished laptop and took care of all the data transfer that they were able to rescue from my old laptop. I was so relieved that they saved all my photos and special memories. Upgraded my Mac Book Pro to the latest operating system and fitted a new battery. Sorted out my iPhone and my wife's iPad that we were having problems with. Bought a reconditioned Mac Book Pro for my wife from them and again excellent service. Would recommend CTS to anyone that has a Apple product in the Newquay area. These guys absolutely rock. Have had various things fixed or serviced in the past but today they set a new level. At 0930 I phoned EE to let them know about my faulty phone screen. They referred me to Apple, who booked me in at CTS for 10:00 I dropped my phone with them at 11:00 (having had to back it up) by 14:00 it was back in my hands fixed. Brilliant service. ~ Tim H

I had a mac book pro crisis that needed fixing asap as I need it for work. It looked like it would take a while for it to get fixed but the guy in the shop did everything he could and resolved the issue for me straight away. He did it with a big smile as well.
